Which models can I use?
Video creation includes CTRL Pose Rift powered by MiniMax H3 and Rift Pro powered by FLUX 3. Image creation uses CTRL Pose Imagine in Standard HD or 2K Precision. Each route has different strengths, controls and credit costs, which are shown before you generate.
What is CTRL Pose Rift Pro?
Rift Pro is the FLUX 3 route inside CTRL Pose. It supports 5–20 second clips, native audio, first and last image keyframes, and Draft HD, Standard HD or 2K Precision controls. It is currently restricted to a private test account while provider billing and real outputs are validated. Read the FLUX 3 capability guide.
What is CTRL Pose Rift?
CTRL Pose Rift is our video workflow powered by MiniMax H3. It creates clips with motion and native audio together, supports Standard HD and 2K Precision, and works with characters, worlds and creative references. Read the MiniMax H3 capability guide or explore all CTRL Pose features.
Is CTRL Pose Rift available to everyone?
Yes. Rift is available to signed-in CTRL Pose users now. Open Video mode, choose CTRL Pose Rift, select Standard HD or 2K Precision, set the duration and aspect ratio, then generate.
What is CTRL Pose Imagine?
CTRL Pose Imagine is our image creation and editing workflow. Generate from a prompt, work from reference images, reuse characters and worlds, change camera angle, and refine an existing result without rebuilding the idea from scratch. See the CTRL Pose feature overview.
What is the difference between Standard HD and 2K Precision?
Standard HD is the efficient everyday option. 2K Precision uses more credits and is intended for higher-detail final output. The selected quality and exact cost stay visible in the generation dock before you submit.
How do credits work?
Credits are charged according to the model and output you choose. Video cost depends on duration and resolution; image cost depends on quality. Your cost is displayed before generation, and credits can be used across the platform without a subscription. View the current pricing and model table.
What happens if a generation fails?
You do not pay for an output that fails. Credits are reserved when a job starts and automatically returned if the provider does not deliver a completed result.
How do I get started quickly?
Create an account, add credits, and open the dashboard. Choose Video or Image, select your model, quality, aspect ratio and duration, then describe the result you want. The CTRL Pose blog includes reusable MiniMax H3 prompt examples.
How do Characters work?
Create a reusable character pack from your source media, then bring that identity into future generations. CTRL Pose prepares consistent reference views and a short character preview so you can check the result before building more scenes.
What are Worlds?
Worlds save the visual rules of a setting—its environment, mood, light and recurring details. Apply a World to new generations to reduce drift and avoid rewriting the same setting in every prompt.
What are Storyboards for?
Storyboards let you plan a sequence as individual timed shots before generation. They are useful for adverts, short films, social content and any idea where the order and pacing matter as much as a single frame.
What can I do after the first generation?
Keep directing. Remix changes the creative treatment, Re-cut isolates the section you want, Extend continues a clip, and Loop creates a repeatable sequence. Available controls adapt to the selected model and source media.
Can I use references with Rift?
Yes. Rift can use images, characters, worlds, source video and supported audio context to hold onto identity, style, motion and atmosphere. Clear references plus a focused prompt usually produce more intentional results than a long prompt alone.
How long does generation take?
Timing varies with the model, duration, quality, reference media and current provider demand. Jobs remain visible in your feed while they process, so you can continue working instead of waiting on one screen.
Can I save work in progress?
Yes. Drafts, projects and generated outputs stay connected to your account. You can organise work into projects and return to it later without losing the prompt or production context.
Can I use CTRL Pose for client or commercial work?
CTRL Pose is designed for creators, agencies and production teams. Commercial rights can depend on the chosen model, your source material and local law, so check likeness, copyright and brand permissions before publishing. Our safety guidance explains the main considerations.
Is CTRL Pose part of MiniMax?
No. CTRL Pose is independent. We bring capable models into one consistent workflow so your projects, characters, worlds and production process are not trapped inside a single provider's application.
What if a model or provider changes?
Your CTRL Pose project structure stays with you. Models can evolve, but your saved work, references and workflow remain organised in one place, making it easier to move to the strongest available route.
